Iraqi forces capture 48 wanted persons, suspects south of Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: Joint Iraqi forces captured 48 wanted persons and suspects in a large-scale security operation conducted south of Mosul city on Friday, an official source from the Ninewa Operations Command (NOC) said. “A joint force from the Iraqi police and army conducted a wide-scale security operation in Hammam al-Alil district, south of Mosul, and its villages, rounding up 48 wanted men and suspects, including 31 against whom arrest warrants had been issued by Iraqi courts for involvement in several crimes,” the source told IraqiNews.com.
