Iraqi forces detain 18 wanted individuals in Babel Province

( Babel – A security source in Babel province said on Saturday, that the Iraqi security forces had managed to detain 18 wanted individuals during security operations in different areas of the province.

The source, who requested anonymity, said in a brief statement obtained by, “This afternoon, detachments belonging to Babel Police Command conducted raid and inspection operations in different areas of the province, resulting in the arrest of 18 wanted individuals on various criminal charges, ranging between murder, theft and armed robbery.”

The source added, “The arrest warrants included most of the districts and areas of the province.”
