Iraqi forces enter al-Qadishiyah, north of Tikrit

Salahuddin ( On Monday, a security source in Salahuddin province said, that the army forces have managed to enter the neighborhood of al-Qadishiyah and inflict big losses upon ISIS ranks in north of Tikrit.

The source informed IraqiNews, “Security forces backed by volunteer fighters from al-Hashed al-Sha’bi have entered al-Qadishiyah neighborhood, located in north of Tikrit,” pointing out that, “Fierce clashes between the forces and ISIS militants resulted in killing and injuring dozens of ISIS militants including snipers and some elements of Arab nationals.”

“The clashes have also resulted in killing 8 elements of al-Hashed al-Sha’bi and injuring 42 others,” the source added.
