Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) We Are Coming, Nineveh Operations Command announced on Monday liberating Tal al-Rumman village, in the western side of the city of Mosul.

Commander of operations, Lieutenant General Abdel Amir Yarallah, said in a brief statement, “Troops of the army’s 9 armored brigade liberated Tal al-Rumman village, as well as raising Iraqi flag over its buildings, after inflicting heavy human and material losses on the enemy.”

In 19 February 2017, Prime Minister and General Commander of Armed Forces Haider al-Abadi announced launching an offensive to liberate the western side of the city of Mosul, and drive out the Islamic State group.
