Iraqi police forces evacuate 27 families west of Ramadi

(IraqiNews.com) al-Anbar – The commander of the federal police, Raed Shaker Jawdat, announced on Wednesday evacuating 27 families west of Ramadi, while pointed out that the families were evacuated and transferred to the district of Wafaa.

Jawdat said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “A force from the federal police had managed to free 27 families that were blockaded by ISIS in the area of Abu Taiyban and the village of al-Saferiyah northwest of Ramadi.”

“A force from the federal police evacuated the families and transferred peacefully to the district of al-Wafaa (35 km west of Ramadi),” Jawdat added.
