(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – War Media Cell announced on Wednesday the destruction of eight ISIS vehicles designed to transport fuel, as well as three armored vehicles south of Mosul.

The cell said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “the Iraqi Air Force planes managed to destroy eight vehicles to transport fuel and three armed vehicles belonging to ISIS terrorist elements; they were stealing crude oil from the extended pipeline of al-Kiyara refinery.”

The former Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Hussain al-Shahristani asserted on July 27, 2015 that ISIS sells oil in less than 10 dollars per barrel, adding that the smuggling is conducted with the help of some traders from the region.
