Iraqi warplanes destroy ISIS shelters in Abu Gharib, Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) On Tuesday, a source within the police force stated that Iraqi warplanes managed to destroy shelters used by ISIS militants in Abu-Gharib district in western Baghdad.

The source informed IraqiNews, “This evening, Iraqi warplanes conducted an air strike on Al-Sheikh Amer village, located in Abu Gharib in western Baghdad. The air strike was based on intelligence received, showing groups of terrorists are gathered in locations in Abu Gharib.”

Noteworthy, Baghdad witnesses several car bombings in almost all districts of the province. Many clashes between Army forces and ISIS militants are constantly occurring in the outskirts of the city.
