Iraqi warplanes kill about 10 ISIS elements southwest of Kirkuk

( Kirkuk – A security source in Kirkuk province stated on Monday, that about ten elements of the ISIS had been killed during an aerial bombardment southwest of the province.

The source said in a statement obtained by, “The Iraqi Army Aviation conducted, this evening, an air raid that targeted a convey of tanks for ISIS heading from al-Riyad District to al-Hawija District (55 km southwest of Kirkuk), resulting in the death of about ten ISIS elements and the complete destruction of the convey.”

The source, who requested to remain anonymous, added: “The tanks were determined to head to Nineveh Province after arriving in Hawija.”
