ISIS attack kills, wounds 7 people west of Karbala

(IraqiNews.com) Karbala – The member of Karbala Provincial Council Mahfouz al-Tamimi announced on Tuesday, that 7 people were either killed or wounded in an attack launched by ISIS west of the province.
Tamimi said in a press statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “This evening, a number of ISIS militants launched an attack on al-Okhaider area west of Karbala, killing 6 ISIS members and wounding one other.”
Tamimi added, “ISIS launched this attack to incite the sectarian strife among the Iraqi people.”
