ISIS attack leaves 2 dead, 3 injured volunteer soldiers in al-Dajil, Salahuddin

(IraqiNews.com) Salahuddin – On Tuesday, a security source in Salahuddin province said, that two elements of al-Hashed al-Sha’bi militia have been killed and 3 others were injured in an attack carried out by ISIS militants on the area of Sayed Gharib in north al-Dajil district.

The source informed IraqiNews.com “Today, ISIS militants had launched a surprise attack on the area of Sayed Gharib in north of al-Dajil district,” pointing out that, “The violent clashes, which had erupted between the two sides and had continued for nearly two hours, resulted in killing two elements of al-Hashed al-Sha’bi militia and wounding 3 others in the area.”

“A military force arrived to back the volunteer forces in the area,” the source added.
