ISIS elements killed, wounded in internal clashes in Mosul

(IraqiNews.com) On Friday, an informed source in Mosul announced that a number of ISIS elements were killed and others were wounded in fights between tribesmen of Matwit and al-Aferya tribes over sharing the spoils and positions in their areas.

The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “A disagreement was aroused among a number the Matwit and al-Aferya tribesmen belonging to the ISIS group over the spoils and the distribution of positions between the two sides in the villages of Tal Afar.”

The source, who requested anonymity, added that the dispute developed into fights with weapons, and resulted in many deaths and injuries among the two sides.
