 ISIS executes 25 people on charges of spying south of Mosul

(IraqiNews.com) Nineveh – A security source in Nineveh province announced on Tuesday, that ISIS has executed 25 people by firing squad south of Mosul.

The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “ISIS gangs executed 25 people from the inhabitants of different regions south of Mosul, including former elements in the security forces; on charges of cooperating with the security forces and al-Hashed al-Shaabi fighters, as well as providing them with information on its headquarters and its elements.”

The source, who requested to remain anonymous, added: “the executions were carried out in public areas,” pointing out that “those people had been arrested earlier from their homes by the organization.”
