 ISIS executes 4 of its Russian elements on charges of spying south of Nineveh

(Iraqinews.com) Nineveh –  A local source in Nineveh province said on Wednesday that the “ISIS” has executed four of its Russian elements, including a senior leader, on charges of spying for their country south of the province.

The source said in an interview for Iraqinews.com, “ISIS elements execute, today, four of its elements, who hold Russian citizenship, by firing squad in Ghazlani Camp in the center of the city on charges of spying for Moscow.”

The source, who asked to remain anonymous, added: “Among the executed was a senior leader who had the task of overseeing the intelligence in the so-called the state of Nineveh.”
