(IraqiNews.com) On Friday, MP for the Coalition of State, Mowafaq Rubaie said that imports of the ISIS organization have fallen to 750 000 dollars a day, after the revenue amounted between 5-3 million dollars last June, pointing out that the organization is in a state of “chaos and confusion” in the city of Mosul, because of the victories achieved by the security forces.

Rubaie said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “ISIS oil revenues fell sharply from what it was last June, after the oil production sites north of the country were targeted by the international coalition forces and the movement of oil tankers from Iraq t to Syria and Turkey was tracked. And in spite of the ISIS gangs using non-oil funding sources, it did not compensate for the loss, thanks to the victories achieved by our valiant forces.”

He added, “ISIS is in a very difficult situation, after a sharp decline in its funding sources from the smuggling of Iraqi oil north of the country to Syria, after the bombing of many of the smuggling routes by the international coalition over the past few months,” noting that, ” The reports of security and Iraqi intelligence indicate that ISIS currently gets financial revenues ranging between 500 and 750 thousand dollars a day only.”
