ISIS kidnaps 25 Kurds from Mosul, says Kurdish official

(IraqiNews.com) The Kurdistan Democratic Party led by President of the Kurdistan region, Massoud Barzani, announced Sunday, that 25 Kurdish civilians have been kidnapped by ISIS in central Mosul.

The Kurdistan Democratic Party spokesman in Mosul city, Saeed Mumozini, has told IraqiNews, “Yesterday evening, elements of the ISIS group have kidnapped 25 Kurdish civilians from the neighborhood of al-Jaza’er, located in central Mosul,” pointing out that, “The detained Kurdish citizens were driven to an unknown location.”

“Kurdish people who were unable to escape from Mosul are living in miserable conditions,” Mumozini said.
