ISIS kills, wounds 12 Iraqi tribal force soliders in southern Tikrit
Salahuddin (IraqiNews.com) A security source in Salahuddin stated on Thursday, that 4 elements from the Iraqi tribal force were killed and 8 others were injured during the clashes with the ISIS militants in southern Tikrit.
The source said, “This evening, violent clashes took place in al-Owaiynat area between ISIS and the armed clans, and resulted in 4 deaths among the tribal force fighters and 8 wounded.” Earlier in the same day, Iraqi Air Force conducted an airstrike in northern Tikrit to kill 22 ISIS.
