ISIS launches attack on al-Dajil, south of Tikrit

Salahuddin (IraqiNews.com) On Thursday, a security source in Salahuddin province said, that the ISIS group militants have carried out a violent attack on the district of al-Dajil, located in south of Tikrit.

The source stated to IraqiNews in an interview, “This evening, ISIS militants have carried out a violent attack from 3 axes on the areas of al-Kasarat, al-Maqala and Sayed-Gharib in the district of al-Dajil (120 km south of Tikrit),” pointing out that, “Violent clashes have broken out between the ISIS group militants and al-Hashed al-Sha’bi militia fighters stationed in the district.”

  1. Iraq has a very large well armed army in that region backed up by many heavy weapons, many tanks, many heavy armed armored vehicles and many artillery plus the International Coalition planes. ISIL now has none of these where ISIL’s offensive attack will soon be defeated, just like all the other recent ISIL offensives have failed and ISIL was defeated.

  2. Kill every ISIS members and their sympathisers throughout the Iraq and Syria. Further, the breeding grounds of terrorists are Wahabi/Salafi seminaries and mosques and thus the government in Iraq and Syria should impose a strict ban on the activities of Wahabi/Salafi seminaries, mosques and organizations operating in Iraq and Syria underground or over ground.
