ISIS shells Fallujah for second day, news about casualties


( An officer in Amiriyat al-Fallujah police station, Maj. Aref al-Janabi announced on Sunday, that the ISIS organization continued to bomb the district for the second day in a row, indicating that the security sectors responded to the enemy firing posts.

Al-Janabi said in an interview for, “The ISIS organization continued its bombardment by Katyusha rockets and mortar shells on Ameria district (23 km south of Fallujah) for the second consecutive day, leaving two civilians dead and several others injured as well as causing large material damage to a number of residential buildings.”

Al-Janabi added, “The army and other security forces responded to the enemy firing posts by mortars and rockets, without knowing the size of the losses.”
