Islamic State abruptly evacuates its members from 4 areas near Mosul

Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) A local source in Nineveh revealed, that the Islamic State abruptly evacuated families of their so-called Mohajereen (immigrants) members from four neighborhoods in western Mosul, Alsumaria News reported on Friday.

The source said, “The Islamic State group abruptly evacuated families of its Mohajereen members from four neighborhoods in western Mosul,” adding that, “The group transferred these families to an unknown destination.”

“The evacuation is an evidence that the battle to liberate the western side of Mosul is near,” the source added on condition of anonymity.

‘Mohajereen’ are the Arab and foreign fighters of the Islamic State who receive many privileges, while ‘Ansar’ are the local Iraqi members.
