Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) Joint Operations Command announced on Saturday, that the international coalition air force bombarded a military convoy belonging to the Islamic State group, west of Mosul, while revealed that the extremist group destroyed one of the bridges in Badush village.

Brigadier General Ahmed Khalaf said in a press statement, “The international coalition air force bombarded a convoy belonging to the Islamic State, while transferring heavy weapons.”

“The airstrike resulted in the killing of 16 members of the Islamic State, as well as wounding others,” he added.

Khalaf also pointed out that the Islamic State militants also destroyed one of the bridges in Badush village, in order to hinder the military operations carried out by security forces in the area.
