Islamic State suddenly withdraws from Rawa towards Qaim

Rawa ( Leader in al-Hashd al-Shaabi in Anbar, Sheikh Qatar al-Obeidi announced, on Sunday, that the members of the Islamic State group suddenly withdrew from Rawa District towards Qaim District.

Obedi said in a press statement that the Islamic State’s members suddenly withdrew, along with their families, from different areas of Rawa District to al-Qaim District, near Iraqi-Syrian borders, west of Anbar.

Leaders of the terrorist group ordered the fighters to evacuate Rawa, in addition to 17 other locations, due to the intensified air strikes carried out by the Army Aviation, Obeidi added.

Furthermore, Obeidi pointed out that the Islamic State members burned several civilian houses, before withdrawing from the city.
