At least 13 injured in the explosion of car bomb east of Baquba

(IraqiNews.com) Diyala – According to a security source in Diyala province, at least 13 civilians were wounded on Tuesday in the explosion of a car bomb in Balad Ruz district east of Baquba.

The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com: “A car bomb was parked in the district of Balad Ruz (30 km east of Baquba) exploded, this evening, injuring 13 civilians in the initial outcome.”

The source, who asked anonymity, added: “a security force cordoned off the scene of the blast and prevented approaching it, while the injured were taken to a nearby hospital.”
