Man kills his children by firing squad south of Baghdad

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A police source announced on Tuesday, that a man killed his children south of Baghdad.

The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com “this evening, a man opened fire with a machine gun targeting his children (18 and 13 years old) inside their house in Saidiya district, south of Baghdad, resulting in their death immediately, while the father fled.”

“The security forces rushed to the scene and transported the bodies to the forensic medicine department, while opened an investigation to uncover the causes of the incident,” the source added.
