Market owner shot dead by policeman in Baghdad

( Baghdad – A source in the Ministry of Interior informed that a supermarket owner was shot dead by a Federal Police officer in southwest of Baghdad.

“The deceased and some Federal Police officials got involved in a brawl in Hayy al-Jihad, southwest of Baghdad. The brawl began when the former refused to back his vehicle,” the source further informed, adding, “The brawl, with time, heated up and in the spurt of the moment one Federal Policeman shot at the market owner, killing him on the spot.”

“Security forces rushed to the area and arrested the policeman and transferred the dead body to the forensic department,” further added the source.
