Mayor killed in western Mosul

Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) The Mayor of Shuqiara Sufla Village in Himaidat district of western Mosul was killed on Tuesday.

Security source reported to IraqiNews.com “Unidentified gunmen opened fire targeting the mayor of Shuqiara village, Jasim Mohammed al-Jubouri, killing him immediately in Wadi Ekab area of eastern Mosul in Nineveh province.”

A security force transported the dead body to the morgue, the source concluded.
