Mortar attack kills, injures citizens in Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com)- One person was killed, while six others have injured, following two mortar shells bombings, in al Maamel Tabuk area, in Nahrwan, east of Baghdad.

Security source said to IraqiNews.com “two mortar shells fell in the vicinity of the Maemel Tabok area, in Nahrwan district, which resulted into killing one person, and injuring six others.”

The source assured the security forces cordoned off the incident scene, and transported the injured to the hospital for treatment, while the victim’s body was sent to the morgue./End/
