NOC clarifies explosion of Mosul Medicine College Dean

Nineveh, Mosul (IraqiNews.com) The Nineveh Operations Command clarified that the explosion which occurred at the vehicle of the Medicine College’s Dean was a result of an electric short-circuit in the fuel tank of the vehicle.

A source of the Command reported to IraqiNews.com on Wednesday ”The vehicle of the Dean of Mosul Medicine College has exploded due to an electric short-circuit occured in the fuel tank of her vehicle and was not caused by an Adhesive Explosive Device.”

The Dean of Mosul Medicine College, Tahani Sanduq, was injured when her vehicle exploded and the police transported her to the hospital for treatment,” noting that “The vehicle of the Dean was parked in the garage of the college at the incident time.”
