Northern Babel tribes Clash with ISIL

Babel (IraqiNews.com) The tribesmen in Jurf al-Sakher district clashed with the elements of the Islamic State in Iraq and Levant who attacked their villages and tried to occupy the district.

Security source reported to IraqiNews.com “The gunmen of the ISIL attacked the area of Hur Hussein at the suburbs of Jurf al-Sakher district of northern Babel,” noting that “The attack resulted in heavy clashes between the residents of the area and the terrorist groups who tried to force the residents leave their houses.”

For his part, Sheikh Nema Zayer al-Mamouri called the security forces to “send military support for the residents of the attacked area to stop the invasion of the ISIL who seek to control Musayeb district of northern Babel province.”
