“Reuters” quoted the White House as saying, “President Barack Obama has taken the decision to send additional troops to Iraq after a request from Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi,” indicating that Obama “has approved a plan to send up to 450 military additional to a base in Anbar province to provide combat training to Iraqi forces, which are fighting against ISIS “.

“Those forces will be deployed to a military base in Anbar province,” asserting that “the additional US forces in Iraq will not take part in combat missions.” the White House added.

US officials revealed on Wednesday that President Barack Obama is going to agree on sending hundreds of additional military trainers to Iraq to ​​help the Iraqi army in the fight against ISIS.
