Obeidi visits Cairo to discuss joint cooperation to fight terrorism

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – The Ministry of Defense announced on Tuesday, that the Defense Minister Khaled al-Obeidi traveled to the Egyptian capital Cairo invited by the Egyptian Minister of Defense.
The Ministry of Defense said in a statement, “On Tuesday morning, Defense Minister Khaled al-Obeidi traveled to the Arab Republic of Egypt at the official invitation of his Egyptian counterpart Sedki Sobhi.”
The statement added, “The visit is expected to continue for several days,” pointing out that, “Obeidi will discuss the means of joint cooperation between the two countries, especially in the areas of training, arming and fighting terrorism.”
