Officer killed, soldiers injured in southern Tikrit

Salah-il-Din (IraqiNews.com) An officer was killed and three soldiers were injured in southern Tikrit on last Saturday.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “Gunmen clashed with an Iraqi Army patrol in Balad district, killing an officer and injuring three soldiers.”

“A security force transported the injured to the hospital for treatment and the dead to the morgue,” the source concluded.
