Official of Khansa Brigade escapes, IS alerts its members in Mosul
A member of the Islamic State’s female Khansa Brigade.

Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) The Official of al-Khansa Brigade of the Islamic State group fled, along with four of her aids, toward west of Nineveh, while the extremist group alerted its members to track the female members, a source told Alsumaria News on Saturday.

The source said, “The official of the Islamic State’s al-Khansa female Brigade in Nineveh Province fled, along with four of her aides, toward al-Ba’j District, west of the province.”

“This official is considered as the minister of women affairs in the Islamic State group, and she is responsible for recruiting female suicide bombers,” the source added on condition of anonymity.

“The female members escaped after stealing millions of dollars,” the source explained. “They moved toward the Syrian territories,” the source further added.

“A tracking team belonging to the Islamic State’s Hisba group is chasing the fleeing members,” the source said.
