(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A source in the Iraqi police announced on Thursday, that the final outcome of the bombing of Alwa al-Jamila east of Baghdad ended at 35 dead and 107 wounded.

The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com: “the outcome of the bombing, which targeted Alwa al-Jamila area in Sadr City in eastern Baghdad, ended at 35 dead and 107 wounded,” indicating that, “the bombing was carried out by a truck.”

The source, who asked to remain anonymous, added: “The security forces cordoned off the scene, while ambulances rushed to transport the wounded to nearby hospitals for treatment.”

A source in the police announced on Thursday, that at least 26 people were either killed or wounded in the explosion of a car bomb in eastern Baghdad.
