Paramilitary forces end Day 1 of Operation “Will of Victory 4”

(IraqiNews) Al-Hashd al-Shaabi’s Leader Jawad Kadim al-Rabei, announced on Saturday, ending the first day of operation “Will of Victory 4”, which was launched this morning.

Paramilitary media outlets quoted Rabei as saying, “The first day of the operation “Will of Victory 4” ended earlier today.”

The operation resulted so far in the killing of an Islamic State suicide bomber and a militant, as well as dismantling 12 improvised explosive device and a number of land mines, Rabei added.

Earlier today, Joint Operations Command announced launching the fourth phase of operation “Will of Victory”, while indicated that this phase was launched to cleanse the full desert and areas in Anbar Province.

It is noteworthy that Joint Operations Command launched operation “Will of Victory”, to boost stability in the areas north of Baghdad, in addition to the vicinity of the provinces of Diyala, Salahuddin and Anbar.
