27 persons, killed, injured northeastern Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Six persons were killed while 21 others were injured due to an Improvised Explosive Device that exploded on Tuesday morning near a mosque to the north-east of Baghdad.

Security source told Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “An IED blew up near Asadullah mosque in Hussainyia neighborhood resulted in killing six persons and wounding 21 others.”

“The ambulances and the security forces rushed to the explosion spot, then transported the injured to a hospital while the dead bodies were sent to the morgue,” the source added.
