Peshmerga forces kill 13 ISIS elements eastern Mosul

Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) The Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) led by President of the Kurdistan region, Massoud Barzani, announced Sunday, that 13 ISIS elements were killed in clashes with the Peshmerga forces in eastern Mosul.

Saeed Mamouzini, an official of the KDP stated for IraqiNews, “The Kurdish Peshmerga forces, with support from the international coalition warplanes, clashed with ISIS militants who attacked them in the area of Ba’shiqah, located in eastern Mosul,” noting that, “Violent clashes between the two sides resulted in killing 13 elements of the ISIS group.”

“The fierce clashes have lasted for more than an hour in the area,” Mamouzini added.
