(IraqiNews.com) The PKK announced on Thursday ending the truce with the Turkish army, noting that the cease-fire agreement by one party is “unacceptable,” pointing out that the Turkish Justice Party is continuing to launch operations against the “Kurdish people.”

The PKK said in a statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “The truce, which was declared before the Turkish elections, had ended,” pointing out that, “The cessation of operations was made by one party only.”

The statement added, “The AKP continues to launch operations against the Kurdish people and the Kurdish movement,” noting that, “The Kurdish community is ready for a cease-fire from both sides,” indicating that, “The policy of the Justice Party after the election shows its determination to practice war policy,” stressing that, “The cease-fire by one party is unacceptable.”
