Police officer killed, 3 civilians wounded in car bomb explosion north of Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) A source in the Iraqi police announced on Tuesday, that an officer has been killed and three civilians were wounded in a car bomb explosion north of the capital.
The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “A car parked near a restaurant in Waziriya area north of Baghdad exploded on Thursday evening, killing an officer in the rescue patrols Mahdi Awad and injuring three civilians.”
The source, who requested to remain anonymous, added, “The security force cordoned off the scene and transferred the injured to a nearby hospital to receive treatment and the dead bodies to the Forensic Medicine Authority.”
