Reinforcement troops sent to Baiji, announces Salahuddin Council

(IraqiNews.com) Salahuddin – On Thursday, Salahuddin Provincial Council announced, that reinforcements troops have been sent to back the security forces stationed near Baiji’s oil refinery.

The president of the provincial council, Ahmed al-Karim, stated in an interview for IraqiNews.com “Reinforcement troops have been sent to back the oil refinery in Baiji,” adding that, “These forces will begin an operation to liberate the refinery and the entire district of Baiji from the ISIS control.”
