5 Sahwa elements killed, wounded in Tikrit

Salah-il-Din, Tikrit (IraqiNews.com) Five Sahwa elements were killed and wounded due to an Improvised Explosive Device to the north of Salah-il-Din province.Security source reported to IraqiNews.com on Wednesday ”The IED, which was emplaced on a roadside in Mashhad village of Shurqat district, exploded targeting a security checkpoint of Sahwa forces.””The explosion of the IED resulted in killing two Sahwa elements and wounding three others,” the source added.”The security forces imposed a security cordon over the incident scene transporting the dead bodies to the morgue and the wounded to the hospital for treatment,” the source pointed out. \END\
