Second Mosul citizen commits suicide in 3 days

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com – A citizen in northern Iraq ’s city of Mosul has committed suicide by shooting himself up inside his house in eastern Mosul on Sunday, being the second suicide incident in three days, a Ninewa security source said.   “A 45-year-old citizen has committed suicide by shooting himself up inside his house in eastern Mosul ’s al-Shimal Garage area,” the security source told IraqiNews.com news agency.   He said the police had opened an investigation about the incident to know the reason for the suicide, which was known.   A Ninewa security source had told IraqiNews.com news agency last Friday that a citizen, suffering from a psychological disease had committed suicide in his house in western Mosul , whilst the victim’s relatives said he committed suicide because of unemployment.   Mosul , the center of Ninewa Province , is 405 kms to the north of the Iraqi capital of Baghdad .   ST / SKH
