Security forces advance in Baghdadi, ISIS trapped, says Parliamentary Security

 

(IraqiNews.com) Parliamentary Committee for Security and Defense announced Saturday, that the security forces are now advancing in Baghdadi west of Ramadi, pointing out that the ISIS organization is trapped in the area.

The head of the committee Hakim Zamli said in statements followed by IraqiNews.com, “The security forces are progressing in their operations to liberate Baghdadi area(90 km west of Ramadi), and a number of areas have already been liberated,” adding that, “The ISIS elements are trapped in certain areas. ”

Zamili added, “The security forces also managed to prevent a new massacre similar to Spieker,” stating that, “We cannot liberate the areas only with the participation of the people living there.”
