Security forces arrest 2 “terrorists” in Diyala, IED dismantled

(IraqiNews.com) Diyala – On Tuesday, Diyala Police Command announced arresting two wanted people on charges of terrorism, while dismantled an improvised explosive device in Baqubah District.

Diyala police spokesman Colonel Galib al-Attiya said in a press statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “A security force from the police’s emergency regiment carried out a raid in Balad Ruz District, and was able to arrest two wanted people on charges of terrorism,” pointing out that, “The detainees were transferred to a security center for interrogation.”

Attiya also pointed out, “An improvised explosive device emplaced on the agriculture road in Hamrin Basin was dismantled.”
