Security forces arrest 42 suspects in Babel Province

(IraqiNews.com) Babel – Babil Police chief Major General Ali Kowa announced on Monday the arrest of 42 wanted individuals on various criminal charges, including terrorism, during raid and inspection operations in different areas of the province.
Kowa said in a statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “The police forces carried out, today, raid and inpsection operations in several parts of the province, resulting in the arrest of 41 suspects of criminal offenses and different violations.”
He also added, “A force from the police carried out raids in the area of Alexandria (50 km north of Babel), resulting in the arrest of one suspect in accordance with Article IV of the Anti-Terrorism Act.”
