Security forces arrest suicide bomber before attacking checkpoint in Anbar

Anbar (IraqiNews.com) A security source in Anbar Province revealed that security forces arrested a suicide bomber driving a booby-trapped vehicle, before attacking a checkpoint, west of Ramadi, Alsumaria News reported on Wednesday.

The source said, “A suicide bomber, driving a booby-trapped vehicle, attempted to attack a checkpoint in the 35 area, west of Ramadi.”

“Security forces from the 29th regiment of the army’s 7th brigade managed to arrest the suicide bomber before approaching the checkpoint,” the source added on condition of anonymity.
