Security forces destroy two ISIS camps in Hamrin Mountains

(IraqiNews.com) Diyali – Diyali Police Chief Brigadier General Jassim al-Saadi announced, that the security forces had managed to destroy two military camps for the ISIS organization in a tactical operation in the depth of Hamrin Mountains.

Saadi said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “A security force belonging to Diyali police carried out a tactical operation in the depth of Hamrin Mountains (80 km northeast of Baqubah), resulting in the destruction of two camps for the ISIS organization,” pointing out that, “The camps included a store for explosive devices, foodstuffs and military equipment.”

“The operation is considered within the framework of tactical and proactive security operations that aim to prevent the ISIS gangs from penetrating the borders of Northern and Eastern Diyali,” the statement added.
