(IraqiNews.com) al-Anbar – A security source in Anbar province said on Thursday, that the Anti-Terrorism Directorate had managed to capture 27 ISIS fighters who were hiding inside a shelter in Fallujah.

According to information shared by the source, “During raid operations in one of the areas of Fallujah, the Anti-Terrorism Directorate managed to find medium weapons and explosive belts, as well as documents containing vital information about the [ISIS] elements.”

The information added, “The Anti-Terrorism Directorate managed also to detain 27 ISIS elements, mostly Arab and foreign nationals, hiding inside one of the underground shelters in the same area.”
