Security forces foil 3 attacks north of Ramadi

(IraqiNews.com) al-Anbar – On Sunday, Joint Operations Command announced, that the security forces foiled three attacks on al-Graishi, Albi Ziab and Albu Sodah areas north of Ramadi, while indicated to the advance of the security forces toward al-Madiq and Husaiba areas.

The Joint Operations Command said in a statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “The 1st and 3rd regiments, in addition to the infantry’s 10th brigade foiled an attack in al-Graishi and Albu Ziab areas and managed to kill 10 terrorists.”

The statement added, “The Rapid Intervention Forces in the Federal Police backed by the international coalition aviation advanced toward their targets in al-Madiq and Husaiba areas and killed 25 terrorists,” pointing out that, “A force from the 1st regiment of the 73rd infantry brigade managed to foil an attack on Albu Sodah area and killed three terrorist.”
