 Security forces fully liberate al-Mallab in southern Ramadi

(IraqiNews.com) al-Anbar – The Anti Terrorism Directorate announced on Friday the liberation of the area of al-Mallab in southern Ramadi, while pointed out to the killing of 13 ISIS elements.

Maj. Gen. Samy Kazim al-Aradi, the commander of the Third Special Operations in the Anti-Terrorism Directorate, said in a press statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “The Anti-Terrorism forces and Anbar police had managed, today, to fully liberate the area of al-Mallab in southern Ramadi,” asserting that, “The Iraqi flag was raised over one of the high buildings in the area.”

“The forces were able to kill 13 ISIS elements,” Aradi also added.

Noteworthy, Maj. Gen. Samy Kazim al-Aradi announced yesterday on Thursday, that his forces had entered into the area of al-Mallab and raised the Iraqi flag over al-Haq Mosque in southern Ramadi.
