Security forces kill 12 ISIS elements in vicinity of Biji oil refinery
(IraqiNews.com) A security source in Salahuddin province announced on Monday, that the security forces managed to kill 12 ISIS elements in the vicinity of Biji oil refinery north of Tikrit, while pointed to killing and wounding dozens of ISIS elements in an Iraqi Army Aviation attack west of Samarra.
The source informed IraqiNews.com, “The security forces killed 12 ISIS elements in the surroundings of Biji oil refinery (40 km north of Tikrit).”
In a separate context, the source noted that the Army Aviation had bombed a gathering of ISIS elements in al-Jazeera area in western Samarra (40 km south of Tikrit), killing and wounding dozens of them.”
